Pediatric Physical Therapist
Throughout my life and career, I have worked with children. Working with children started as a babysitter and nanny while I was in high school. In college I worked as and became certified as a preschool teacher. In 1991, I graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy and in 2014 I was awarded a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy focusing on Pediatric Science. I have worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention facilities, schools – private and public, adult day programs, aquatics, and acute care settings. I have worked with children and adults with a variety of diagnosis and have extensive experience working with children with visual and hearing impairments. I feel very comfortable working with children who are medically involved and children with multiple disabilities.
