Pediatric Acupuncturist (with or WITHOUT needles)
NAET Allergy Elimination Practitioner
Growing up with a sick younger brother, I always knew I wanted to help others. I somehow ended up taking a small detour as a hi-tech manager, but quickly realized that was not my true calling. My passion was to work with kids, and after completing the full program of Chinese Medicine, I studied another year of Chinese medicine for pediatrics.
It was during this time that I also realized that some kids are not happy with the needles used in acupuncture (or their parents are way too worried about them!), so I started seeking out gentle tools that are extra friendly for the little ones, like shonishin, pediatric tuina and healing forks. In my work with young children I also see many mothers who are expecting. I wanted to be able to provide them with the most professional care, so I joined a hospital training for pregnancy and postpartum and can offer treatment focused on these needs for my pregnant clients.
I also have my own children, and my twins challenged me with chronic ear fluid and FTT (Failure to Thrive). Due to this I sought yet another tool that would benefit my own children, as well as my patients. I eventually found NAET (Namburipa’s Allergy Elimination Technique) which has helped my kids and other children within my practice. Many of my pediatric patients also find NAET effective for their children with ADHD, SPD (sensory processing disorder), colic/reflux and eczema. Some mamas that I work with find relief and benefit from NAET for their morning sickness, emotional issues, constipation, labor preparations, and more.
