The 2020-2021 school year has been one we will never forget! We are sending positive thoughts to our ConnectEd Community as you navigate through these last weeks. After a year of challenges and constant change, we are thrilled to announce a 2-part virtual event designed exclusively to support educators as students return to in-person learning next fall.

The struggle is real
The disruption of developmentally appropriate social interactions, increased screen time, and continuous change will have far reaching consequences on our students. We’re already seeing schools met with unique emotional and behavioral challenges on students’ return. However, we now have both the experiences and research to understand how to both mitigate and leverage this moment.Research suggests that integrating opportunities for students to understand, build, and practice emotional awareness and self monitoring will lead toward improved regulation and engagement in the classroom. Fall 2021 presents an ideal opportunity for educators to shift to an integrated whole child approach to social emotional learning.

Join us to talk practical solutions
Join us for a special virtual conference, “Return to Regulation, an Educator’s Guide for Fall 2021” on May 7-8. This 2-part virtual event is designed to provide a framework and specific strategies to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of all students as they return to campus. Hosted by ConnectEd Developmental Therapies and EMOTE, and in partnership with thought leaders in the field, “Return to Regulation”is designed for PreK/TK – Middle School educators. Interested administrators, specialists, and families are welcome to join.
