Nancy Quinn, OTR/L
I’m a born in Canada, but raised in California girl, living and practicing in the peninsula area from Belmont to Salinas, providing therapy services to children and families. I have always loved pediatrics and have spent all of my career working with young children, from birth to ten years of age. While I have spent much of this time working with children birth to three years of age in early intervention settings, ten years ago I was able to branch out and establish a private practice, expanding my services and sensory expertise to a wider age group. This change allowed me the luxury of practicing my two greatest interests: feeding and Sensory Integration work.
My professional focus and ongoing training have always been important and varied, while still focused on early experience and pediatric therapy. I am a San Jose State University graduate with continuing education courses which include:
Sensory Integration certification
Handwriting Without Tears
Feeding skills for Special Needs Children
Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT)
Touch points program
Stanford University Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
It is most important to me to establish trust and respect with my young clients and their parents. I am grateful and excited to be collaborating at ConnectEd with an amazing, proficient team of professionals.
I have lived most of my adult life in the Los Gatos area, raising two children, Nicholas and Kimberlyn. During their younger years I worked within the Los Gatos School District while they were enrolled there. I also established a children’s choir and theater program where I enjoyed introducing young children to music and theater.
